Witness appeal after dog dangerously out of control in Puckeridge |

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a dog being dangerously out of control in Puckeridge. The incident occurred at around 11.30am on Friday 12 December. It is reported that the victim, a woman in her 70s had been walking along Mentley Lane when she passed a man and his dog. The dog was wearing a harness and was described as black and looked like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The dog suddenly attacked the victim, biting her multiple times which caused a large laceration on the arm which may require surgery.
